What is your mission? What is your purpose? This is a very common question that gets asked in the personal development space. Many of the answers are the same. “To be the best”, “To be financially free”, “To leave a legacy”. What do any of these things even mean? To be the best in what exactly? Financial freedom? Okay, you have all the money you want, now what? To leave a legacy? What kind of legacy? It does not appear that people think clearly enough about this. You need to know what you’re after. My mission doesn’t have to be your mission, but you need to have something you’re sacrificing for that is greater than yourself. If you think you’re going to achieve fulfillment by solving your own problems, you’re not.
